Objective

A popular home, fashion, and lifestyle online marketplace tapped The Digital Dept. to engage on-brand influencer partners to create custom content surrounding key marketing moments, with the goal of increasing brand awareness and website clicks.

Strategy

From vintage fashion to homemade goods to one-of-a-kind finds, we curated a strategy to showcase all the amazing offerings on the marketplace by tapping a diverse group of influencers to serve as brand ambassadors. Each influencer was tasked with creating content around key holidays and events, such as back-to-school shopping, fall fashion, holiday gift guides, and more.

With a mix of captivating Instagram photos and engaging Instagram Stories that displayed favorite shopping finds, our strategy drove both increased brand awareness and sales conversions. To extend the reach of this campaign, we were able to amplify the influencer content to lookalike audiences, focusing on driving reach, landing page views, and click-through rates. Through our strategic amplification, we were able to achieve 6x our expected benchmarks for reach and 3.5x our engagement benchmarks. The campaign was a resounding success, generating nearly $385K in sales.
