Dividing her time between Los Angeles and New York, Justine is trusted as both a beauty influencer and celebrity hairstylist. A stylist for nearly 20 years, she started in the salon world before transitioning to celebrity and editorial styling where she has been touted for creating some of the most iconic and trend-setting styles. Her expertise has been featured in countless publications including Teen Vogue, Glamour, Allure, Elle, InStyle, People Style, Refinery29, US Weekly, Byrdie, and more. Refinery29 called Justine “The Queen of Braids” and named her as one of the “Pros Who Would Change the Way You Do Your Hair.” In 2017 WWD named Justine as one of fashion’s next big hairstylists and she won the American Influencer Award for emerging hairstylist in 2018.
In 2017, Justine was named the North American Brand Ambassador for ghd, a title she still holds today. Partnering with ghd was natural for Justine, as their range of innovative tools has long been her go-to for creating noteworthy styles for her celebrity clientele. In her role as Brand Ambassador, Justine continues to inspire ghd’s cult following by delivering the latest hair looks and how-to’s, educating on the brand’s award-winning range, and giving stylists and consumers the power to have a good hair day, every day.
Justine has also been the Global Stylist for TRESemmé since 2017, leading a team of world-renowned stylists backstage at New York Fashion Week’s runway shows. She is part of an all-female-led team bringing TRESemmé’s vision to empower women through leadership roles to life. As Global Stylist, Justine brings the TRESemmé brand ambition to life by arming women around the world with the tips and tools they need to look and feel their best.
Justine has been a key hairstylist backstage at NYFW since 2017 leading the hair on the runway for countless shows including Christian Siriano, Mirror Palais, Batsheva, Prabal, Christian Cowan, Alice and Olivia, and many more inspiring each season’s beauty trends.
In 2018, Justine launched her own range of trendy hair accessories with Kitsch which have created a cult-worthy following. PopSugar called it “One of the Best Beauty Collaborations of 2018” and her pieces have been seen on notable celebrities.
She has also had her expertise sought out on numerous TV shows including leading the hair for two seasons of Bravo’s Project Runway.
Justine has also been a judge for numerous publications annual beauty awards including Glamour’s Annual Beauty Awards, InStyle Beauty Awards, The Zoe Report‘s Annual Beauty Awards, Blink’s Beauty Awards, Woman’s Health Beauty Awards, Who What Wear’s Beauty Awards, and NewBeauty. She was also a judge for the prestigious NAHA (The North American Hairstyling Awards). Justine has been a regular contributor to NewBeauty Magazine as a member of their advisory board “Brain Trust” since 2020 and most recently she joined Elle Beauty’s Advisory Board in 2024.
In 2024, Justine combined forces with industry leaders Jen Atkin and Mary Phillips to co-found Highlight Artists, a full-service talent management company, representing hairstylists and makeup artists in Los Angeles and New York City in an effort to mentor the next generation of hair and beauty professionals.
