Cathy and Garrett are the minds behind The Grit and Polish and are all about old houses, DIY renovations, and slow(ish) family living in their country farmhouse. They’ve spent the past decade renovating old homes in Washington state and showcasing their projects and DIY skills across their channels. They are parents, landlords, DIYers, and old-home lovers who are always in search of a good beer, a fresh adventure, and a fixer-upper. Currently, they’re based just outside Seattle in Ellensburg, WA with their 3 children and their poodle, Silvi.
